new furniture

i bought new furniture today!! does that make me officially an adult??

my college apartment couch was super old and super heavy; not to mention teal and being held together with duck tape (but at least the ducktape was teal and i had it covered with a throw). So, I decided it wasn't worth it to move it to boston and went out and bought some new stuff.

ross perot

mr. perot came and spoke with our "class" today. as radhika puts it: he is adorable. while he told lots of life stories and gave some really good advice, the quote of the day was, "we used to say, 'we don't drink, we don't chew, and we don't go with girls that do'....[pause for reflection] oh how times have changed."

on thursday a group of people i work with (we all work with perot in different parts of the u.s. and are in plano training together) went out to dinner, so this will give you a chance to meet some of them.

on saturday mom and i took a trip to nac to go see meg. we saw new in town (which was a very cute movie and hilarious), took a walk on the trail, and ate at jalepeno tree (delicious).
